The location was great and the local facilities are pretty good too.very easy to pick the keys up from a restaurant nearby.

The mattress on the bed is in very poor condition, stayed a week and had a bad back when leaving! The room is not the cleanest and has an ant and roach problem. The bedding is old and has odour to it. The kitchen isn't stocked very well, not good enough for the place to be advertised as self catering apartment in my opinion. The drinking water dispenser ran out of water at the property and despite reporting it at the restaurant it didn't get replenished for the rest of our stay. The bathroom had a broken shower head holder, the toilet seat is the wrong size and poorly fitted, there is a large gap under the door!

Excellent location near all amenities and quiet. Wifi good. Good communication with the host. Confirmation included all the details you would need to get to the restaurant where keys are picked up.

Photos completely different so I thought I had been assigned the wrong apartment. Description wording not accurate and the words 'shared' and 'rooftop' should be included to adequately describe the facilities not inside the room. Welcome letter - nice touch but not updated so wifi was wrong - careless management No toaster even though included in the description - I asked for one but received no reply! Bedding, exceptionally poor. No mattress cover, thin bottom sheet which would not stay under the mattress and wrinkled into the middle. Horrid pillows filled with lumps which had matted together to make one big one, Sleeping became a difficult task. Tatty and torn curtains falling off the rails. Two kitchen knives both worn beyond usefulness. One was even broken - the blade moved out of the handle when pressed. Washing machine turned out to be shared with other apartments and was situated on the roof level - again not explicit in the description View from apartment is brick wall - city views are from the rooftop.

Absolutely nothing. I did not stay.

2 flights of stairs with hardly any natural light and no electric light. Balcony looked on to next doors side wall, which one could almost reach to touch. Dark and dingy apartment. I was told to go to the roof to see Marina - another flight of dismal stairs. I did not venture up. Definitely not what I expected from the advertising. Person who let me in had to search to even find a kettle. Staff at the shop complained they were fed up of customers complaining at them. Owner not there in person. He was dismissive and rude on the phone and kept talking over me. He refused point blank any sort of refund, even laughed at the idea. Accused me of wanting something for nothing. Awful attitude. Took my payment and readvertised immediately.

Perfect place for short stay on Malta! Birgu is very good location in general, and this apartment is very authentic! Facilities were clean and convenient, the host was very helpful. Thank you for perfect Malta experience!

It was not a problem for me, but may be important: the apartment is located next to the big cathedral, so if you prefer to open the windows instead of switch on the AC, be ready to wake up at 6 a.m. to the sound of bells ringing:)

Tidy room in a great location with balcony between a nice square and marina/waters edge both with restaurants. Host kindly allowed us to leave luggage in their restaurant until the room was ready. Room was clean and has everything you need for your stay. Has a shared roof terrace with a great view.

The room is a little dated and the towels smelt a little damp after a day but there was a second set if needed, and there is a balcony and roof terrace for drying items.

Posizione centrale a Birgu/Vittoriosa, locali e rivendite varie (anche farmacia) letteralmente a portata di mano come pure bus e ferry per La Valletta. Edificio d'epoca ristrutturato, camera con finestra e balcone, bagno/doccia sufficientemente ampio e con due finestrini; angolo cucina nuovo e ben attrezzato (piano induzione,microonde...). Mobilio economico ma nuovo e funzionale, letto comodo. Camera ampiamente illuminata con faretti. Terrazzo panoramico fruibile.

Pavimento camera, d'epoca ma malandato, poco igienico,da "rigenerare" o rimodernare (buono il rivestimento nel bagno).
