Old Croft House Cottage, Isle of Lewis

The view. The location.

Location was wonderful, lovely views, cottage was the perfect size for two, very spacious but cozy. Everything we needed was provided and easy to use.

The only issue we had was the small, uncomfortable couch. With one of us being very tall, 6'4 and both with a few joint issues between us, it was difficult to sit on it comfortably for more than a few minutes. (We like to have a full day out then in during the evening.) We ended up pulling it out flat, as it was a also sofa bed and using the long cushions from the kitchen window seat and the rocking chair to lie on as we watched the TV.

Nothing negative to say.

Just a few minutes walk to a beach. Very comfortable and well equipped, lots of info about the area, great location for exploring Lewis. We came to visit Callanish Stones which were amazing

Nothing but visitors remember that shops shut on a Sunday not like England.

Location was stunning. Cosiness of property. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Excellent instructions on the property and places to visit. Ishga toiletries. We bought plenty to bring home.

Sofa could have been more comfy. The hot water pressure in the kitchen was low but not a problem

the house was beautiful and the location is stunning. it was very clean, tidy and well equipped.

there was no steamer for the hob and the main oven doesn’t work
