We had a wonderful time at the house — the view is absolutely spectacular! Just a heads-up: there are some stairs. It wouldn’t be an issue in cooler weather, but with the unusually hot weather during our stay, it was a bit challenging. But the stunning view more than makes up for it, and we noticed that stairs are quite common for many houses in the area. The house had everything we needed, especially a fully equipped kitchen — including seasonings, cooking oil, and more. There’s a café, butcher shop, and supermarket all within a 5–8 minute walk. The restaurant just below the house was also fantastic, with a gorgeous view. What truly set this booking apart, though, was the host, Andrea. He is hands down the most thoughtful and helpful host we’ve ever met — incredibly kind, respectful, and hospitable. He consistently checked in with us, was very responsive, and went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Andrea helped us break change to pay the porter and even arranged the porter service for us — which is a must if you have luggage (seriously, a lifesaver!). He made time to meet us in person before we checked out. On the day we left, the weather was terrible, and Andrea kindly allowed us a late check-out since the next guests were arriving late at night. He even called the porter and ferry company to make sure there were no issues with our luggage or boat. And how could I forget — he welcomed us with a thoughtful gift, including delicious homemade liqueur! We would absolutely come back just because of Andrea. If you stay here, don’t hesitate to reach out to him — you can truly count on him!

Personal preference: I wish the shower room were a bit more spacious.

Great property! Overlooking Capri

This property was incredible, we can’t say enough good things about it! This was our second time in Capri and we enjoyed our stay here so much more being up on the hill and somewhat away from the crowds. There is a beautiful terrace that overlooks Capri with sun chairs and a table to have a snack and glass of wine at while watching the sunset. The terrace is so nice we didn’t want to leave the place during our stay. The home itself is very cute, well maintained, and gets plenty of sunlight. The home is surrounded by lots of flowers and greenery. The host really made our stay memorable and they went above and beyond what we’ve ever experienced at other properties. They aren’t just a property manager dropping off the keys. The home has been in their family for decades and you can sense the pride in the property. They went absolutely above and beyond with their information package and guidance on getting to the property and around the island. Every restaurant and bar recommendation they gave us we really enjoyed. The home is close to an amazing cafe with a view and a supermarket to pickup a few things. It’s a short walk to the centre of town. There are some stairs to climb to access the property that we didn’t mind but if you have mobility issues it would be a challenge. This is just what it takes for the incredible views! The pictures can’t do it justice but this stay was a top highlight of our trip and we can’t recommend it enough. If the home is available during your travel dates, don’t hesitate and just book it!

From booking to departure, Andrea was on hand to help make the stay as perfect as possible and his recommendations (from accessing the island, luggage service to suggestions for day trips and restaurants) were second to none. The property is up on a hill away from the crowds and has the most beautiful views. It is well-equipped and had everything we required with the welcome gifts and water being particularly appreciated.

There are many steps up to the property to be rewarded with such a view, which were challenging in the heat despite being relatively fit.

Nothing, it was perfect!

This was our third year coming to this place for vacation, because this place and the host are so unique that we won't find another one like it anywhere :) Here you can feel like in paradise. We have already been to the island of Capri six times and we would not exchange this place for any other. We long for the day when we will sit on the terrace and be surrounded by greenery, flowers, birds singing, seagulls circling nearby, the sea with swinging boats in the distance and the beautiful rocks of Monte Solaro.

The property is located on the hillside just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Capri and therefore very well situated. The views are outstanding! The appartment has everything you need and is very cute and cosy. Andrea was extremely helpful and provided lots of tips ahead of arrival and during our stay. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

A couple of things broke but Andrea was so responsive that these didn't dirupt the holiday at all as they were all fixed very quickly!
