Sheelin Huts Blue, Hot-tub available From 1st April until 1st November

Although the jokey was in a lockbox the lovely host greeted us. Breakfast ingredients were provided, including tea, ground coffee and a plunger or French press as well as instant, eggs, bread, several cereal varieties, milk and juice.

The bed was very comfortable but given this is a tiny house it was against a wall and my husband had to climb over me to get to the toilet in the night. Also some noise from traffic started around 5.30 am. It didn’t wake me but my husband heard it. None of this is major and overall our experience was excellent.

Setting, location, helpful host, cosy hut and lovely place to relax

Everything was great: the hut's interior and exterior, the cleanliness of the accomodation, the breakfast provided, the atmosphere at the farm and especially our host Gary and his lovely family!

it is simply stunning. completely blown away by the attention of detail in the entire hut. everything is thought of. Every bit of space utilised. The interior and exterior of the hut is dreamy. To appreciate the full extend of the hut you have to experience it yourself. Reminds you of how beautiful Ireland is. The views that are right on the door step are stunning whatever the weather. I cannot recommend it enough it is a piece of work to be admired.

An amazing little home from home escape. We spent three nights here and didn't want to leave! Gary, even though we didn't get to meet him in person, was a super host. He had the hut sparkling and ready for us at 3pm. It really was spotless, couldn't fault it at all. Lovely touch with everything you'd want for a continental breakfast each morning. There was even Tayto crisps which was a real treat. Such an Irish thing, I love it :) We were looking for somewhere quiet where we could just switch off and chill. We were able to do just that. There's a lovely little seating area at the front of the hut where we sat and read a book with a glass of wine and watched the beautiful cow's potter around the field. A real slice of heaven with lots to do and see not far from where we were. Can't wait to come back here again.
