De tuin, het zwembad. En de rust.

De ruimte en het mooi verzorgde geheel. De tuin is prachtig onderhouden, de rondlopende kippen zijn erg grappig om te zien. Het verblijf is keurig, alles is aanwezig en gezellig ingericht. Overal horren en airco in de slaapruimte. Het zwembad is werkelijk prachtig, groot en volgens mij verwarmd, het water was in ieder geval helemaal niet koud.

Het geheel is ruimtelijk en mooi verzorgd maar dat vond ik tegelijkertijd ook het nadeel. Te geordend, te netjes maar dat is een kwestie van smaak. Persoonlijk ben ik gek op honden en deze honden zijn prachtige en goed verzorgde schatten, heel sociaal en lief. Maar .... ik ben ook van mening dat nagegaan moet worden of men de aanwezigheid van loslopende honden waardeert. Niet iedereen is er van gecharmeerd, ook zijn er mensen die bang zijn van honden.

Anita was incredibly kind and provided all information clearly in advance. The area is private and peaceful, and the house itself was quite charming.

While the house was tidy and maintained, the shower area had a noticeable sewer smell. Additionally, the heating system was somewhat confusing. There was a remote control for temperature adjustment, but it did not have any effect on the heating, which raises questions why was the remote control there in the first place. The only adjustable heating element was located on the upper sleeping area, which wasn't really useful for day time use.

Quiet location, big green garden, doggie The dog is running free in the garden greeting guests when they arrive, very sweet - which for us was not a problem, because we love dogs. But when he came to our door, very cute and spinning around his tale and we let him in, the owners came to get him back and they didn't let him out anymore in the next days... if you don't want people playing with your dog, then build a fence or separate space for him. We cannot look at a dog, being all cute and playing and ignore him while he stares at our door and wants inside. Of course we let him in. He didn't bother us at all. But then the owners came to get him, warning us he's not allowed in... Then don't let him run free in the garden and go to the guests...

- When we arrived, the lady welcoming us with the key spoke like she gave us a sales pitch on the supermarket she owned, telling us to go shop there. - Bad and cheap service - we were there for 4 days and no cleaning was offered. Not even changing towels. no shampoo. we washed with the hand soap. two rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for 4 days. And we paid 170 euros a night! - The house is spacious and dark, not cozy. We felt more like we were in a museum or info desk center - there was a big shelf with all kinds of brochures and flyers in the kitchen area. - I dropped something under the bed in the bedroom and when I picked it up I saw big spider webs under both beds - so no cleaning was done there. - Really cheap, bad mattresses. - No privacy - the house is connected with the studio and you can hear everything from the other room. The owners also live in the house next door and you can see them going out by bike right in front of your window or in the garden or in the swimming pool. There's an alley passing right next to the house, so anyone can look inside. - The swimming pool is covered, unless the owners use it. They swam in the morning and covered it back. You can only use it if they are home and ask them to open it. - The owners are very intrusive, they can pop at your door whenever they want. Everything is glass, so they can stare right in. In 4 days, we were disturbed 3 times: once for the heating - because we turned it on in one evening and apparently they have an alarm for this and came to ask us to turn it off, telling us we made a sauna (for 170 euros a night you cannot make it as warm as you wish!), 2 more times they came to get their dog back, opening the door by themselves, not having the manners to wait for us to go and open the door - they just popped their head inside... very unprofessional and weird.
