Dream Weaver 2 Bedroomed cottage on The Bay, Filey with on-site gym and swimming pool

The place was excellent and the team was excellent

There was nothing we did not like apart from reception not knowing about we was booked in

Great location with easy access to Filey beach. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and clean. The amenities at the Bay (the complex where the cottage is situated ) are excellent including shop, pub, arcade, pool, tennis courts and pharmacy. Loved Filey and would certainly book again.

Minor issue really but the wooden outdoor table and chairs were in very poor shape and no grill for the BBQ. Certainly not deal breakers and hopefully on the agenda for the owners to replace.

Didn't use on site facilities so can't comment on those. Cottage could do with few repairs and TLC in few areas ie kitchen lights and blinds and paintwork but nothing too major and didn't impact our stay

Lovely location. Was grateful for the welcome pack- nice touch with the treats! Clean.

Needs a new tin opener as was very stiff to use. The beds were uncomfortable and the singles felt quite short.

Location was great, with open grassland to the rear.

Easy to get the keys. Nice tidy house Lovely welcome pack. Shower was amazing Good location. Pool waa nice when it was working Had all we needed for a short stay. Hosts very helpful when the hot water went off.

House needed some tlc inside and out. Bathroom in particular. Lights hanging out in the kitchen ceiling. Pillows not good. Patio furniture not in good condition and no grill for the bbq. Pool broke after day 1 (not the hosts fault, onsite issue). Light needed in the main bedroom cupboard which is used as a wardrobe.

Loved the cottage, area

The double bed was so hard, nearly came home after one night but found a mattress topper in the cupboard, the bed was ok after that! Hubby wanted a mop lol

The location and on-site facilities were exceptional with parking right outside the property. The host kept us updated before arrival and an issue that arose on arrival at the property was quickly resolved the next day. The property was well resourced with all working and modern appliances plus a lovely outdoor area and barbecue

On first inspection the property appeared to be emaculate and was overall very clean but the beds ... especially the twin ones, were extremely uncomfortable, the main bedroom would have benefited from a chair to sit on although we appreciate the limitations on space. The bathroom toilet needs changing as it's very stained underneath and although I tried to clean it these are historic stains which are unlikely to be removed, the bath mat was very dirty underneath and could not be used and some simple instructions on how to use appliances without refering to manuals would be helpful. These are simple things to resolve and did not spoil our overall stay at the Dream Weaver. Although the atmosphere and the other holiday makers were friendly and approachable we didn't realise that this site is geared towards dog owners and because of that reason as we don't own one we probably wouldn't return to this site.
