Close to Frome. The property had 2 bathrooms. Lovely countryside views. Very peaceful. Wonderful setting. Beds were comfortable. Easy parking.

The kitchen was a little dated. No freezer, washer/dryer or dishwasher. The dining area is in the corridor between the kitchen and the lounge with no windows. Had to go out and buy new pillows as those supplied were too soft.

Lovely rural location, peaceful and quiet. All on one floor with plenty of space for two people. Hosts very welcoming and checked we were OK throughout our stay. It is a working farm and would have been lovely to have seen the cows in the field but it was too wet.

Would benefit from a freezer and dishwasher, but other than this had everything that we needed.

Unfortunately there is a narrow road toward village hall which is easily missed this wasn't stated in directions and very tight country roads/private roads which was slightly confusing

The Barn was absolutely ideal for the 3 of us and our dog - cosy and contemporary and we loved the tucked away location, set back at the end of a long winding lane. A perfect Christmas getaway and the kitchen’s super oven certainly did the turkey justice. Next time we’re looking forward to walking to the village pub - this summer I hope.

It was a very spacious property that was wonderfully secluded. There were some nice dog walks nearby, although some of the walking routes seemed to have changed since the map was first printed off. There was underfloor heating throughout which meant that we were always cosy. There was a good selection of streaming services and live TV. It was a genuinely dog-friendly property, as the owners had provided dog towels and a blanket to put on the sofa so that our dog could join us for Christmas snuggles. The bathrooms were both very good - we appreciated having shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided so that we didn't have to use our own.

The beds were really hard, unfortunately, so neither of us slept well during our stay. There was also nowhere for us to put our dog poo bags so we ended up leaving them outside the front door and taking them with us when we went out for a walk. It would have been great to have a small box or bin outside that we could put used poo bags in. Unfortunately, the WiFi was a little patchy which meant that it was difficult to use the various TV streaming services available, although there was no issue with live TV. We mentioned this to the owners and it sounds like they have tried to have this fixed but BT weren't interested.

Clean, quiet and peaceful and places to walk the dog.

Hanging rail in second bedroom wasn't usable as was coming off the wall.
