Much recommended place

The host was really nice and helpful. The place was peaceful, quiet, and private with a nice porch and garden. Our group really enjoyed the getaway. Everything was clean and comfortable. It really felt like staying at our own house.

In the beginning we wanted to stay one night, but not to change accomidation 2 times, i wanted to cancel this booking to go other place where we could stay longer. So thia house owner gave a diacount- almost equal to other accomodation, so we stayed at hers house. The house is spacious with seperated entrance..Garden you will share with family, who lives above on second floor. So in the garden you will see/hear other people comming and going, its not 100% privacy.. Communication with owner was nice- she was helpful, solved the hot water problems and also gave a discount for longer stay.

I fell like in some grandmothers house, where she is not living, and someone had a quick cleaning, so people can stay there. But in general everything in the house is old (not vintage). Also the table covers were dirty, towels had a stains, that doesn't give clean impression. In the bathroom first day had only cold water. They didn't tell nothing about it. Only when I wanted to wash hair and i reported to owner, that there is no hot water, she said the previous guest broke it day before, and they didn't had time to fix it. But after my report they come and fix it (and didn't take long). The 2 fans on the ceiling (joined rooms) make noise. There are some kitchen accesories, but old, not propper sets (for example- not equial amount of forks, knifes, spoons if you want to make a meal for more people). And the plates, glasses etc. Were washed but put on plastic tray, that they cannot dry or plates in the pile- so they were stinky.In the days we stayed there- was raining. So inside of the house was more hot than outside, and even with fans could move the air enought to get refreshment. And the ants!!!! They were everywhere! That was so anoying and disturbing. I believe with a good care and some renovation, some light garland outside for nicer seating to enjoy garden in the evening the stay would be much better and more welcoming. If you look for comfort- this is not the place to choose. Also next to bed there were no place to plug chargers or some small night light.Only by big table, next to all.switches. In the main hall you will spend lot ot time to find a switch which is for fan, which for light as there were many sections with 4-5 switches each. In the bathroom water from sink runs to general dranage, on window aile we found old toothbrush and cleaning froducts. No shampoo or shower gel for guest.

I would highly recommend that to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
