No good places for longer walk nearby- no sidewalks on streets.

The cabin is perfect for two people, very comfortable. It was easy to find and only 15minutes drive from the beach. It had lovely outdoor space and a BBQ which we used. We had a lovely stay

The location of the house was the best part of our vacation. It's quiet and situated in the center of the pine trees, which is ideal for relaxing. The location offers the possibility for various activities such as swimming in the sea or river, biking, SUP boarding, and walking. The owners are very hospitable and the house is nice, clean and has everything for the vocation.

There weren't any negative aspects.

Place was wonderful and peaceful. Good looking, well designed and clean house with stunning view. Hot tube in the woods with the view on Gauja river is just perfect.

One day there was noisy neighbours, second day hosts were quite noisy cleaning cars and stuff with karcher (which is not something you expect on stay in the woods). Also in the house there's no air conditioner and you're not able to open windows during summer time because of mosquitoes.

This is probably the 30th+ accommodation booked through booking.com this year. And I would definitely give a 11 out of 10, if I could. I wanted to have a quiet place in nature for a single-stay workation and exactly got that. It's like a premium retreat place with high-tech internet. Full large, studio cottage for myself. Everything looked so new as if I were the first guest. Fully-glassed cottage front towards the woods and the river. Own barbecue grill right in front of the cottage veranda. Own private river beach. Water goes only to 1 meter depth. Birds singing all day. Wonderfully quiet, no city noise at all. If I drew away the curtains at night, I could see the full moon shining through the pine trees from my bed. The compound is located in a gated community, the territory additionally fenced off. No car or traffic noises. The host absolutely fabulous, friendly and open. Multi-lingual and multi-cultural. Great recommendations for restaurants, nature walks and sights in the vicinity. Hope to be back in September. Thumbs up!
