The Station Masters Lodge

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge, cozy atmosphere and Ian and Keran are adorable hosts and really lovely people, they gave us many recommendations and were always available. The Lodge was clean and had mostly everything one might need (and if not you can always ask). We slept well and loved the garden views. We felt that the accommodation was really good value and can definitely recommend staying there.

The Internet connection was not good and we didn't manage to use smart tv because of problems with connectivity. I read in previous reviews that people had the same problem. Also, we didn't manage to make the heater work in the bathroom, so it was a bit chilly. However, i am sure we could have asked the hosts for some help, which we didn't. Don't get us wrong: the overall experience was still great!

Loved the friendly welcome we received from Ian & Keran. They even went to the extra effort of hoisting our local Shropshire flag during our first stay. A great base for exploring the amazing coastal scenery nearby.

The hosts were great. The location was great. The property lacked storage, ideal for a weekend but lacking for a week. The sun trap outside the bedroom was outstanding, but the property in general required maintenance. The bathroom door sticks, the bedroom door can’t be opened quietly.The wi fi while reasonable made the smart TV almost useless. Don’t take this as a bad revue, we loved it.

Wi fi, sticking doors and lack of storage for both clothes and food stuff.
