Minty Cottage

The location is amazing. Right by the beach and town. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay. The walk up the canal was a highlight. The bed is super comfy!

The only negative was the sofa. We reclined it but just couldn’t get comfy.

Good location. Good communication and instructions. Clean and tidy. Good facilities in kitchen. Good value for money.

Needs an upgrade to furniture. Mainly a new sofa. TVs are outdated and small with lots of wiring/cables/extensions. Arga was very hit in the summer despite being turned down. Perhaps adds to theme but a little outdated.

Coming home

The whole experience arrived to wet dog smell in property. Nowhere to sit outside apart from an alley. Windows downstairs locked no way of opening and dodgy front door locking us in having to attract neighbour to let us out. Furniture was so uncomfortable and parking was a nightmare

Clean and cosy easy to travel to different areas

Walks on beech and the shop are good

The bed to soft had trouble sleeping

Private and quiet, it was clean, cosy and close to everything we needed. Didn’t need to use our car locally, choice of food shops and the Aga was great to cook with.

It was a bit hard to find initially initially, maybe some signage would help

Lovely cosy cottage for two people and great for walk along seafront, 2 mins walk away! Aga was amazing & kept cottage beautifully warm.

Difficult to say but maybe it would benefit from a updated and more comfortable sofa?
