The Secret Garden Room

Clean room and comfy bed. Check-in infos were clear and provided in advance, we’ve met the host the third day of our stay and she was super nice. We had the chance to use the laundry and it was a plus. Nice private garden just in front of the room, overall a very nice stay

Walking through the garden we’ve got some mosquito bites, even if we applied some mosquito repellent provided by the host (but maybe it’s just us that are prone on getting bitten). For light sleepers please consider that roosters are very close by, like almost everywhere in Kaua’i, and they start “singing” at 3:30AM. Earplugs are provided but I felt it uncomfortable and could not use it

C’est un endroit magique et magnifique, tout est parfait, nous sommes reçus comme des rois. C’est vraiment le plus bel endroit dans lequel on a dormi pendant nos 3 semaines à Hawaï. Les hôtes sont à l’écoute et nous donnés des recommandations, l’endroit est propre et luxueux. Ananas frais et chocolats à l’arrivée. Le jardin est splendide. Porte séparée de la maison principale qui nous permet d’être autonome.

Without any doubt this was the most beautiful and enjoyable place I have ever stayed at. The hosts were wonderful and the place was immaculate.

The garden is just as beautiful as the photos. It’s not just peaceful and serene, it’s also welcoming. The hosts truly think of everything you might need on your stay, with a few pleasant surprises thrown in.

You share the property with the hosts, so it’s not private. They’re super nice though. However you can’t really leave the blinds open (which is the only way to see the garden without going outside) unless you don’t mind the hosts seeing you in your room. So I had to be conscious when dressing/undressing and I couldn’t sleep with the blinds open like I wanted to bc the thought of possibly being watched while I slept freaks me out. So it does lack privacy. Also there were little baby looking ants in the closet area. You can barely see them but I noticed they kind of get on everything in the closet. I had to wash all my clothes to make sure I didn’t inadvertently take any unintended guests home with me. The hosts do provide a washer and dryer for your convenience so it wasn’t a huge deal. Also I never saw them in the bedroom area of the room.
