"Lovely stay in nice modern home"

9.0

Property was set back from the road so it was quiet at night. Was modern and clean inside.

Floors are thin so can hear people moving around and talking but not an issue for us.

"Lovely house in a good location"

10.0

Everything was great. The house was very well presented, in a good convenient location and is highly recommended. There were some very nice touches, with little extras in the kitchen on arrival. All in all a first class stay.

Nothing really.

"Very comfortable and convenient - highly recommend"

9.0

Its location is perfect for Kelso town, shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s obviously been renovated recently to a tasteful and high standard.

The only niggle was the lack of notes or instructions on, for example, which bin to use: what to do with recycling vs refuse. The only reason I knew to separate glass is because I have spent a lot of time in Kelso with my family who have a place there. If I were a genuine tourist I wouldn’t know. Some hand soap in the bathroom upstairs would also have been useful (there was some in the downstairs cloakroom). Also, despite a very modern washing machine in situ there was no clothes airer to hang them up to dry on. However when I contacted the owner she very quickly dropped one by. Same for extra bin bags. As I say - just small niggles.
