Sumihotaru Honoka Machiya House

This was an exceptional self-catering house. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and everything was clear and well-organized. There was a minor mix-up regarding our preferred house setup (which was my oversight), but the staff resolved it within just half an hour. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The bathroom was especially impressive! We opted for the futon beds, which were very comfortable for us and our young son. The street where the house is located is peaceful, yet conveniently connected to two major roads. These roads are great for catching buses to explore the rest of the city.

The hob as a child lock on that took me an embarrassingly long time to work out how to turn off :D (after you turn it on hold down the lock for several seconds, there is a manual, I just misread it).
