Neighbourhood is awesome. Convenience as its near station, shopping mall and living in an old Japanese house. Property is spacious.

Low ceiling. Owner might consider to put warning stickers on that beams going to the garden. I bump my head 2x and saw stars 🌟 . Provide anti mosquito spray/repellent during summer. Lots of mosquitoes that the moment we sat they went flying everywhere.

The location is great, convenient even for travelers without a car.

Expensive , but I believe this is needed for the good location and the services provided.

The house was very well appointed. It had everything we needed and was clean, and comfortable. The bikes were very useful and the location is very near Kyoto station.

Location, close to train station and conveniences.

It was very tired home, needs TLC and tidy up of facilities, including kitchen. Host did not reply after requesting rubbish disposal. Very tight for 5 guests.

食器洗いのスポンジが使い捨てであると良かったです。

見た目のレトロ感に比べて中は今風でした。 自転車が人数分待機してて、とても助かりました！ただ一台はパンクしていたので、直した方がいいかな〜 冷暖房も各部屋設置してあり、部屋やタオル、ベット台所など、清潔感がありました。 ロケーションも駅から遠すぎず、ファミマやイオンも徒歩5分圏内で近くにあり、便利でした。

風呂場とトイレがリビングから扉１枚隔たれているため、寒かったです。3月末でも寒かったので、真冬はヒートショック起こすのでは？と思いました。真冬はトイレと風呂場の廊下に、狭いけどヒーターとか置いてあるのかもしれません。 洗面所にティッシュがないのは不便でした。 あと、1番明るくあってほしい洗面所の電気が暗かったのは、メイクする場所を選べばざるをえず、不便でした！

Very convenient to Kyoto Station and local bus routes. Great having a washer in the house. Perfect place for a family of four to explore Kyoto.

It was perfect for the price. But don’t expect a(n unrealistic) 5 Star experience
