Pepe and Rosi met us personally at the villa on arrival, which was a lovely touch and made check-in very easy. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including excellent air conditioning, which was very welcome in the heat. The pool area was lovely and very well maintained, with the sun on it from around 8am until 7:30pm, making it a great place to relax all day. The pool itself was spotless. The location was perfect for the beach, which is just a short walk away (shingle beach), and there were lots of fantastic chiringuitos within a few minutes’ walk too. There were also a couple of lovely restaurants nearby within walking distance. There is a bus stop just over the road with routes into Nerja, although we didn’t use it as the walk along the coastal path was absolutely beautiful and took around 40 minutes at a gentle pace to reach the centre. Although you can’t park in the garage, we had no issues parking on the road directly outside the villa throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts left by Pepe and Rosi — a bottle of wine, water, crisps and olives — which was a very kind gesture after travelling.

The interior is a little dated, but everything was clean and functional. If you wanted to do a large supermarket shop though, you would probably need a car or taxi. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to upgrade the master bedroom bed to something larger, as it is only a standard double (although this was clearly stated in the description when we booked), and perhaps modernise the interior décor a little.

Friendly host was there to meet us at the arranged time. Good communication by email and text to confirm dates before arriving (strongly advise you to double check booking dates a few weeks before you arrive). Lovely house with well equipped kitchen (easy to cook for a family) and pool. Easy to park outside. Peaceful location with a short walk to the nearest beach. You can walk into Nerja town along the coast in about 40 minutes or drive in about 10 minutes. We had a lovely holiday.

Gorgeous villa very well equipped with everything we needed. Great pool and terrace. Sea views and the beach is 2 minutes away over the road ( get sea shoes the sea is rocky!!). We had a fabulous week here. The little mini mart opposite is good for basics and beach stuff if a tad pricey but doesn’t have fresh or frozen produce. We walked to MAS in Nerja (30mins) and did a big shop and got an Uber back. The host Pepe was waiting for us and we could go in early which was appreciated. He only speaks Spanish but we got by !! Highly recommend this property if you want a chilled out holiday round a private pool. It’s on the edge of the town so not many shops or restaurants locally but taxis are easy to get .

The road was a bit noisy at times.

We loved the outside area and privacy and space and having our own pool which was spotlessly clean as was the whole of the property.

The bed was a little bit hard for us that's all.
