River house

The host was super friendly and accommodating. She met us at the property and gave us a tour of all the facilities - including lots of drinks in the fridge.

The house is right on the river and the tram line. It has a beautiful view and the tram is charming. However, if you don't like street noise, you might not be as happy as we were.

We arrived at a place located on the river of Porto. The house is beautifully organized and tidy. It has equipment with thought to every detail; From a washing machine and dryer through a kitchen full of cooking accessories and games for children: puzzles, books, chess and more... the house is very spacious. Yolan received us very nicely and made sure we had a great stay. If we are in Porto again we will definitely come back

River House is a lovely, well-equipped property in a great location. The host (Yulan) was most helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend highly for those wishing to visit Porto and environs. Great restaurants nearby, and the restaurant next door to the house is of exceptional quality and value for money.

Lots of stairs, and one of the bedrooms involves a step down and step up in order to access the bathroom. These weren't a problem for us but would be challenging for someone with physical disabilities. Some of the seating in the lounge area is a bit uncomfortable.

The owner provided many extras we did not expect, like coffee, sparking water, wine and beer. The location was superb for the tram and Bus 500. The owner’s instructions and information were very clear and detailed.

Cars tended to park in front of our garage door so we had to find the car owner so we could drive out. It was more a frustration than a problem.

Incredibly dog friendly no matter the size. Clean and great facilities. Lovely light. Amazing location
