LA DOGANA .

Beautiful location. Lovely views from the bedroom window and front door; and very quiet. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen facilities are great, including the coffee machine.

The shower is a bit too small if you are a big person. There aren’t any cafes in walking distance. You really need a car for convenience. Although there is a bus which stops just outside of the property, which is great.

Très fonctionnel et bien situé pour visiter la région. Parking privé et gratuit.

The house was nicely decorated and the owner went out of her way to provide a good experience.

We had a major problem with the keys to get into the house. There were 4 keys in a lock box and it was raining when we arrived. The 1st key opened the front gate. The second key, for the iron gate leading to the stairs to our second floor, did not work because the lock was “frozen” and would not turn. It took several minutes while standing in the rain to open the lock. The next 2 locks worked and we were glad to enter the kitchen and drip on floor. To our dismay, a sliding wooden door from the kitchen to the house did not have a key. After several more minutes we found a bent piece of metal that we used to “jimmy” the lock open. The problem with the locks took the edge off of what would have been a fabulous stay.

We had very nice stay. Cozy apartment, comfortable bed, nice view, good locality, safe parking behind the close gate, dog-friendly, easy self check-in, kind host.
