I wasn’t keen on driving in the dark to the cottage , when you got off the main strip it was hard to see the road but wouldn’t put me off staying that’s just me being a woman!

GBThe cottage felt like home from home. Perfect for the family to spend time together in a quiet rural location but close enough to amenities when needed and to the beautiful Markree Castle where we were attending a wedding.
The beds we found a little uncomfortable. They were ok but we are used to king size and a deeper more comfortable mattress. Just personal preference.

GBLily's location is outstanding - very quiet and surrounded by a beautiful meadow in the middle of stunning Sligo countryside. It was a pleasure just to sit in the garden and relax. Josephine our host was very helpful and friendly. There was very good communication regarding directions and handing over of keys.
We found the temperature of the hot water to be dangerously high - both my wife and I nearly scalded ourselves. If the temperature controls of the boiler and/or immersion heater cannot be set at a lower level - then perhaps there should be warning notices in the bathroom and kitchen? We found the mattresses to be too soft. However, we recognise that this is a matter of personal preference.
