It was a great house, comfortable and a homely feel, plenty of heaters to keep the house warm, and lovely big lounge. The beds were very comfortable and everything was just great, down to a well stocked pantry for things like tea, coffee, sugar etc and what to put on your toast. It was so close to Taupo township, you could walk to Woolworths. Plenty of parking space too. A great place to stay overall

There was nothing we didnt like.

So much space, had a nice home feel to it. Beds were really comfortable, a really well equipped kitchen which was fantastic. Super close to town and the host was really good to deal with.

Big & spacious. Handy location & easy to access now that traffic lights are at the main road to let you in & out.

Had to make contact to get correct lock box number then all was sorted. It is not the pin # on printed pages. Toilets are VERY low. Perhaps a handrail for pulling oneself up could be advisable. The edge of the parking platform - Some reflective markers ( like those in center of the wire road markings) could help locate the edge or a full solid fence. Its a big drop! We could not find a switch for the auto security light or the unit is not working ??
