Clean linen and space

It was. Old and tired, inside needed a general upgrade. Very dated. There was an undeniable smell in the property unfortunately. Mouldy information book was not a good start.

This house was the best value for the money in Taupo by a country mile. Heeps of cooking facilities, crockery etc. would highly recommend.

Great location: 3 minutes drive to Pak’n’Save, 6 minutes to Huka fall lookout, 6 minutes to lake front. Spacious rooms, the size of the house is great for a family vacation, easy to access / parking, Nice facilities, great and clear communication with the owner, everything works as expected, strongly recommend

It would be more awesome if the carpet and sofa could be cleaner, there were some visible stains and debris.

"Great location Taupo"

The location is great and close to everything. It was clean and had everything we needed apart from a bbq but that wasn't a biggie as we took our own portable one.

The bed in the master was a little soft but that is personal preference.

The location was fantastic, making it easy to access everything we needed, from local attractions to amenities. The house itself was spacious, beautiful, and well-equipped with everything we required for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing, and the overall layout of the house provided plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space.

The entire house had a strong fish smell upon arrival, which we couldn’t get rid of throughout our stay. This made the experience less pleasant, especially when spending time indoors. It was disappointing as everything else about the property was so great. Despite airing out the house and trying to mask the smell, it lingered throughout our stay. This was the only negative aspect of an otherwise wonderful experience.
