Wai Marino - Taupo

Great location, fantastic views over the lake and some nice walks in the area too. Fantastic design house, laid out over 3 floors and the front is windows top to bottom so you have the views all the time. Great facilities, nice to have the bikes and kayaks. Good quality bedding and all freshly laundered as well. Plenty of Nespresso pods as well.

The paintwork inside is very tired, especially around the stove top and some of the walls on the stairs. There was a fair amount of dust in the cushions, the TV was pretty small as well - not much more than a PC screen. The driveway is extremely steep, difficult to navigate and has no grip in the wet (unless you have a 4x4). I'd say that the price point per night should have some high expectations but the property only has the views - needs the rest to be up to speed, solve the driveway issue and keep the decor up to speed.

Incredible property. Heaters work well. Beds are comfy.

2 bathrooms yet only one shower is usable. The driveway is extremely steep, even to walk up was very slippery. A bigger TV and the TV in a better spot would be good for days when its pouring with rain,like it was for our stay.

Views, fire, spa bath, what more could you need!

Not a complaint but would be good to put few extra mirrors around as we waited to use only mirror in the bathroom.

Great house for a couple or family with amazing views in an excellent location. Super facilities provided, including kayaks and bikes. Nice escape from town, but still close enough for activities, restaurants etc.
