Taupo Haven - Taupo Holiday Unit

Clean, spacious and had everything we required.

BBQ gas bottle was empty.

Liked that it had a water view and was spacious for our group. It was a bonus having some basic supplies in the pantry that we had forgotten.

Housekeeping could have been improved: master bed missing duvet cover other beds with no valance. Fans would have been good in the bedrooms because the air-conditioner did not circulate cool air down toward the bedrooms.

Location is great as short walk to lake . However, some truck brakes heard at night being g at bottom of hill

This property is expensive but its general condition does not reflect the price point . The unit desperately needs some TLC. If I’m paying a lot of money I do expect everything to be of good standard. The laminate flooring is really uneven , inside of fridge door has a missing shelf, outside of garage and in front of wooden gate has tile falling off , missing hair dryer , shower leaks from its bottom tray onto the floor . Current Curtains are inadequate given cold evenings and single glazing.

We got lost the first time we got there but managed to find it . I was so amazed by the house. The house is so close to everything like shops, pools & etc. The view was so beautiful . There was everything we needed in the house . We really enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect location

Place needs a good spring clean. For example, there was thick dust on the decoder underneath the TV and skirtings need a good wipe.
