The Grand @ Taupo

Spacious, clean and very well equipped. We were two family groups and there was plenty of room for us all with room to spare!

If I’m being nit picky, a lasagne dish would be helpful. But seriously there was nothing to dislike about this property.

The house is lovely, very clean and comfortable for the 6 of us. We liked that there are 3 big bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and well stock. We enjoyed cooking in it and having meals together. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

The dryer was not available during our stay.

The house itself was absolutely beautiful. Our stay was amazing. The kids really did enjoyed the spa. My room was beautiful and spacious

There were a lot of bugs even though the windows and doors were shut. The drying machine was not working ,other than that everything was nice

Everything! One of the best houses we've ever rented

If we were being super picky, one bed had quite a thin mattress, wasn't the same standard as the rest of the house.

House was lovely very spacious and the soap was awesome. Would definitely book again

There were no instructions on how to lock the door when we had to leave for the day. And everytime you opened a door the bell would go off which was a hindrance to other guests if you wanted to take a early morning jog. Also couldn't find extra bags for the bin and the pots and pans were all bad. Out food kept getting stuck the knives also need to be sharpened or replaced.

We love staying at this property! Great to have instructions on how to use the lounge fireplaces. The property is very spacious which allows you to have quiet time if needed or watch something different on TV. The dining table seats 10 allowing us to have dinner together before playing board games. The spa pool was lovely and relaxing and we enjoyed the lazy boy recliners and comfy sofas.

There was a strong curry smell when we arrived so even though it was cold, we had to air the place out. Despite the instructions we couldn't get the speakers to work. The neighbour's trees have grown quite a bit in the last 6 months and are beginning to obscure the lake views. The mattress fold out bed in the ground floor bedroom is rather hard and uncomfortable so relocated to a lazy boy for the night.

This is a lovely home on a quiet street. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we were close to hiking and shopping.
