Lake Terrace Lockwood

Beautiful big house, very homy and had everything you could want from a rental. Rooms are big and lots of wardrobe space. Kitchens is well equipped and large. We had a fantastic time here, eating around the dining table, inside and outside. Laundry with extra towels for the spa area. Neat and clean house.

Unfortunately, like all the other reviewers, we found this house exceptionally creaky. Reading other reviews I thought they were over reacting a bit, but they were not! I constantly thought someone was walking around and the slightest wind causes more creeks. It's such a shame and we hardly slept because of it. It is really the only negative about this house but one that would cause me to not book here again unfortunately.

It is so cosy and comfortable. We loved our stay. Its lovely and warm in the house. There was so many groceries supplied we were amazed. Just that thw spa pool is a bit outdated but we really enjoyed our stay. Very homely house. Thank you.

Really didn't expect the creekyness, scared my adult brother alot but got used to it pretty quickly and the hot tub didn't run hot

The house was doubled booked and weren’t able to stay there- didn’t find out until we arrived after a 5 hour drive. Luckily the manager found us somewhere else by chance - she was amazing. Will Never use booking.com ever again- absolute shambles

The spa pool needs updating

The house is in a good location, has a good sized living and kitchen and is clean and comfortable. Would stay again

It would be better if the bedding used duvet covers as when just using a top sheet they have the tendency to come off so that you are in direct contact with the comforter that other people have also been sleeping with.

I like it was close to recreation activities, eg de bretts pools, huka falls etc. Had everything we needed, warm and clean. Could see the lake from the top level, overall ok.

It was creaky being wooden, just fitted under both shower heads and a little dated.

The property was fantastic, it had everything that we needed.

The only thing is that we didn’t know what to do with rubbish until we’ve found the notice about stickers, and there were no stickers left.

Single beds were a bit narrow. The showers need upgrading Very small for 2 over 6 foot men
