Stunning cosy barn in peaceful rural Cornwall

The barn was a superb conversion, brilliant use of space. The main living room and kitchen were well appointed and the log burner was a bonus ( and well needed as we stayed in a real cold snap) Everything was at hand to make sure it was a real home from home ; though personnally I would have preferred a small dishwasher than a washing machine but I did think the kitchen was well equipped. The garden was lovely and I can see in the summer it would be a real haven of peace and quiet. Janet and Luc have made a wondeful place to stay and I am sure we will be back. BTW the scones were just great !

There is nothing that could have been better, all was of a high standard.

Only slight issue was the mattress wasn’t the comfiest. But that was my 6’3 partners only comment.

Everything! The very cute and great prepared tea time for us on arrival, the cottage at all, the garden, and the great chats with the hosts!

Clean well presented as described. We really enjoyed the cream tea that was waiting for us when we arrived. It had all the facilities that we needed for cooking. The bed was comfortable, which we don't often find when staying away from home. Wood burning stove warmed the place up nicely with wood provided. It has its own private entrance and garden so don't feel you are in the way of the host.

We were glad of the wood burning stove. Without it we would have been cold as the electric radiators did not heat it enough.

Beautiful… everything thought about, including dog towel 🥰 Fantastic hosts too.

Bed mattress was very hard but we did still sleep okay. Would have really enjoyed a large pouffe too to settle down and watch a film with legs up. Weather was full on rain so we could t really enjoy the pretty garden and outside furniture so we were inside all the time. The view outside though was very pretty! Car parking was very tight for a large car.
