Charming 1932 Craftsman - The Bohannon House

We loved the house. The hot tub was awesome after a 7 mile hike at Shenandoah.

Very clean, and cozy.

My single complaint is that it was advertised without the cleaning fees which were approximately 1/2 the price of the stay. So we jumped from $180 to over $300 which we weren’t expecting. I blame booking.com for that

The location was great for walking into town and close to everything else near town. The hot tub was a wonderful addition and enjoyed by all.

We liked everything!

Spacious house. Fully stocked. Conveniently located near everything. The price point was excellent and the owners were awesome.

Air conditioners were off when we got there. It took a while to cool down the house. If you're a big guy, there's not too many places to sit in the house cuz it's all small furniture.

We have had a wonderful stay. It is a beautifully decorated house with all the amenities. Enjoyed sitting on the porch too. The dining room is beautiful too. Bedrooms were comfortable

We were right in town, close to the cafes, restaurants and shopping. The train was startling at first (especially the first night) but we embraced and loved it by the end. We would get so excited when we could hear the ding ding dings in the distance and run out on the front porch and wave. We had a 6- and 7-year-old with us who absolutely loved it. There was plenty of towels, the showers had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Every bathroom had hand soap. The kitchen was fully loaded with paper towels, trash bags, dish soap and dishwasher pods. The hot tubs was HUGE! There were 7 of use total and we all fit very comfortably. The neighbors were super nice also. They had cats and ponies that they let us pet and love on. We also loved the front porch. We sat out on the porch allot drinking coffee and talking while watching the cars and people walking go by. It was a girl's trip celebrating my daughter's 40th birthday and she kept telling me .... "This house is awesome Mom thanks so much for making the arrangements". We visited the Caverns which were amazing and ate dinner the Chop House Bistro. We had a most excellent time!

There was nothing we disliked about our visit and the house. The house was charming and loaded to the gills with games and books and big TVs along with movies and DVDs.

The house was really great, close to all the places of interest

The railway trucks are really close to the house and the train runs several times per night waking up everyone.
