Excellent location. Short but pleasant walk to the sea through beautiful forest with the most fresh air in the world.

I didn’t like that the bedrooms are in 2nd floor, but wc in the first.

Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten im Wald im livischen Dorf Vaide. Die Vermieter*innen wohnen auf demselben Grundstück, aber in einiger Entfernung, so dass nichts das Gefühl der Abgeschiedenheit stört. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet mit einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche. Bad, Sauna und Wohnküche befinden sich im unteren Geschoss, der sehr geräumige Schlafraum oben. Die Außentreppe hat ein stabiles Geländer und besonders im Sommer, oder bei Mondschein war es für uns kein Problem, sie auch nachts zu benutzen. Terrasse und der Balkon im Obergeschloss sind wunderbar zum Lesen und einfach in die Landschaft schauen. Wer Ruhe und Naturerlebnisse sucht, ist hier richtig! Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist wahrscheinlich möglich, aber zwischen Bushaltestelle und Ferienhaus liegen noch einige Kilometer. Zum Strand sind es etwa 10min Fußweg durch den Wald.

Im Schlafraum hätten wir uns etwas mehr Stauraum für Kleidung gewünscht, da wir eine Woche zu Besuch waren. Und wir regen an, Fliegen- oder Mückengitter an mindestens je einem Fenster pro Etage nachzurüsten.

The location is marvellous, the host is very friendly and helpful. The sauna and bathing area are very well developed and simply wonderful. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped.

The description should clearly state that there is no connection inside the house between the sleeping area upstairs and the sanitary facilities, which are only downstairs. So if you (or your children) want to use the toilet at night, you have to use the way outside the house (the steep staircase is just outside).
