Summer Dream

Outstanding view, nice two-floor appartment, friendly cats.

Nobody met us on arrival, so we got lost in complicated and vertical streets of Poros, we hardly found the house, which is almost at the top of the hill and not possoble to reach on any vehicle.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Summer Dream. We chose this place for the view and we were not dissapointed, as the apartment has a small balcony (perfect for a romantic dinner) and a terrace with sunbeds. The chillout music provided on the terrace ads a nice touch to the athmosphere. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated (especially the paintings) as presented. The landlords provided us with welcome basket with drinks & delicious treats, and had a cleaning service scheduled mid-stay. The view and the silence of the surroundings make up for all the effort climbing the stairs (expecially if you have luggage and take on the google suggested routes instead of the much better video provided by the owners), the perks being that if you are not very fit (like us), you get a good leg workout and also nice memories :) Sferia is small and full of stairs and tracks, do not imagine you can get a good view without climbing them... Getting to Kalavria on foot is also accesible, we enjoyed trackking to the Lighthouse, to all beaches (left and right in Kalavria), Poseidon Sanctuary and Zoodohos Pigi Monastery. By car, taxi, bike, everything is easily accesible, but if you like walking, the roads are marked and safe and the scenery is beautiful. We also highly reccomend a farther cool beach, Anasa, where we enjoyed the best fresh drinks and coffee.

The terrace really needs an umbrella, especially in the afternoon. We forgot to ask for one.

The view is better than going to any bar in the town. I suggest you call a taxi to drop you off at the highest point of the hill and then you walk down for 5 mins

A beautiful, spacious home, fully organized for guests, bright, cool, and spotless. The breathtaking view is matched only by the kindness of our wonderful hosts! We cannot wait to visit this little gem of Poros again and enjoy the sunset on the spacious terrace... Loved everything about it; you will too — highly recommended!
