- Rural and remote - relatively quiet (the main road is downstairs) - view over Douro - whirlpool

The cleanness was good for portuguesian standards but a little lacking for German or Swiss standards. E.g. cobwebs, hair in the carpet etc.

I loved the view. The spa bath. The fireplace. The layout and interior design.

Only it's a challenge for drivers to get there on frozen morning. But this is something small, you could walk.
