Beautiful spot and fun to be right on the town square. Comfortable beds and facilities.

It was a little lacking in space. Locals were a bit noisy at night which made it hard to sleep.

the bus up to Pontone only comes every hour or so. walking down is okay a lot of stairs.

The accomodation was clean, modern and spacious. It had all the facilities needed from an apartment. The host was great, helped us with figuring out transportation and gave us a ride to Amalfi because we had to leave early and there was no bus so early. It is located in a small village, with a couple of good quality restaurants. Relatively equal distance to Ravello and Amalfi, 20/30min walk to both. Keep in mind it involves a lot of stairs and uphill/downhill walking. Buses connecting to Amalfi aren't that often, but we managed fine. We usually walked down or took the bus to Amalfi and from there the ferry to other destinations. Because of its close proximity to Amalfi, it got easier to visit different locations on the coast.

Breakfast options were left to us from the first day pre packed, but only sweet selections. It seems typical of Italy, but don't assume it will help you get a proper breakfast. We knew the location would involve a lot of walking/climbing, so just be prepared. Maybe don't come with large trollers if you don't want to spend a lot of money on taxis. The humidity was quite high in the apartment, towels would hardly dry over night/day.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable. the rooms were very large. Surprisingly The most beautiful view is from the terrace where you hang the laundry :). The village and location were really great, We walked down and up the steps from Amalfi which was fun but not easy (especially going back). Sergio met us and helped us find close by parking for our car which was very useful. We ate dinner every night at the restaurant right next door and it was just perfect.

There is not really a common area/livingroom, just the kitchen/dining area which was a little too bad. We had issues with the heat and hot water during our stay, but Sergio was very responsive and apologetic and he or his brother came to fix the hot water every time they stopped working, but it was a little rough and uncomfortable to have to call late at night. Also we were a bit cold in the apartment and there were no extra blankets. It was a holiday weekend though and I totally understand why it was hard to find someone to repair during our stay. The breakfast wasn't too exciting, just store bought products that were ready in advance, but we were expecting that after reading other reviews so wasn't a big deal.

Sergio and his brother Francesco was so attentive to us! They came and wait for us, gave a lot of recommendations to places to see or eat and answered us immediately! the apartment was exactly what you need when travel in the area!!
