Lots of room, lovely home, clean and everything you need.

Driveway very difficult for a big vehicle. People walking past to get to another property, seemed a bit weird.

The lodge was very comfortable with beautiful furnishings and good quality utilities. It was in a lovely quiet location with great views and access to the lake. It was located close to Taupo amenities and sightseeing spots.

We thought the property had a garden area we could use when we booked as we have a dog, but there was someone living in the garden room, which meant we could not roam freely in the garden without intruding in their space.

"Great family escape"

Kitchen was fully equipped, great for entertaining. So close to the lake. Great indoor and outdoor flow. Lovely lodge, well maintained.

Took a while to understand how to work the oven but once I did it was fine.

The house itself is great and spacious and everything you see on the photos. Nice views of the bay - direct access down to the lake.

Unfortunately it had not been properly cleaned in some time and there was a lot of dust/cobwebs etc.. dishwasher with dirty dishes. Great coffee machine but no coffee. There were several doors to get outside to bbq/off bedroom etc and unfortunately we had no keys until final day. BBQ was super low on gas which made us worry about bbq'ing. Could not contact anyone when we arrived and only on the 3rd day did someone come around.

The space inside the house was excellent to accommodate large large groups. We had a group of 5. Access to the water below the property was lovely. Would be a brilliant place to swim in summer. The beds were extremely comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms was a bonus also. We had a lovely stay. Thankyou...beautiful property 🤩🤩

Parking for our large utes ( 2 x utes) was difficult. More accommodating for smaller vehicles. It would be impossible to park if you had a boat on trailer. Unfortunately there was no information on what the wifi connect and password was. Had to phone to get the code.
