Fantail Cottage with Sea Views - Akaroa Home

Nice location, but garden was overgrown & we couldn’t see the Akaroa Harbour from the dining table.

Food & drinks froze in the both fridge’s. Not as clean as it could be. Tv only working on Juice channel.

Incredible views, very lovely set up having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, parking was great and pretty good access. It exceeded my expectations on beauty and comfort.

Would’ve been great if they could have provided shampoo & conditioner.

Nice property but no sun at all which made it a little chilly inside, suggest trimming some of the greenery outside which would help. Key code didnt work - had to call up on arrival to request code - a little inconvenient.

The location was good, with views over the town and water. Quality restaurants and cafes were within 5 minutes drive. The gravel approach road took a bit of getting used to. The location was quiet. We keep returning to Akaroa for the ambience. One minute you are in the busy little township, but within seconds you can be enjoying a hillside walk without a soul around.

Our only quibble was the vegetation which was quite overgrown, partially obscuring the stunning views. There may be a good reason for this that we didn’t know. We also found we were unable to use the tv.

Nice peaceful location. Good bathrooms and reasonable space etc.

The fridge in the dining area froze all our salads and fruit even on low and we had to thrown out lots of food. The gardens should be trimmed so you can actually see the view from the sofa and the spider webs removed from the doors. Separate beds in the other room would help for kids.

The location was simply stunning - unbeatable

There was mould in the bathroom and on the back of several curtains. There was a LOT of cob webs around many of the windows.
