Honey Cottage

Everything! Cobwebs everywhere , smell of musky and it was dusty , dirty windows , TV screen , mirrors , floors , table , chairs , all dirty , sofa had wood under the seat ! And debris under the sofa . Toaster full of breadcrumbs ! Cups dirty ! Kettle had water in and full of limescale ! Kitchen cupboards dirty , cooker hood greasy and dusty , dishwasher , freezer and washing machine rusty and dirty inside and out , cooker dirty , blinds dirty and broke , windows blown . It was cold on arrival I called for the owner to please come and put heat on , he came with a electric heater and I asked if the heating was broke and he said he doesn’t put it on in the summer , it was blowing a gale outside and the place was chilly , I pointed outside and said what summer , he laughed and said he doesn’t put heating on until October / November, we paid £600 for a 5 night stay here and I am the paying customer , I expect to be comfortable and warm , We would have left if we could have afforded to go to another accommodation, it was like staying in the inside of a old antique wardrobe, the place was filthy , I have no idea why a feather duster or Hoover was not used to remove cobwebs which would have not appeared recently , they would have been months worth of them . The leaflets that are there some are dated 2019 and so on . I have no idea how reviews have even said this is an ok place to stay , the pictures on your page are not true to what is available, the sofa is worn down and there are no cushions ! The outside furniture is old and rusty , the flower trough is broke and nothing inside and rubbish is left outside and the bag is faded so I have no idea how long it has been there . The grass needed mowing and the tree branches bang onto your car in the wind where they need cutting back . Also the upstairs landing light did not work , my husband changed the bulb , these are silly little things that need looking at in between each booking .

Very clean and comfortable property in a great location for exploring the island. Friendly and helpful hosts. We'll equipped cottage with outdoor space and safe/easy private parking.

A lovely comfy cottage, great location and a friendly host. Would recommend to couples families. My friend and I had a most enjoyable stay.

Great little garden for my son to play in. Facilities were great nice and clean and homely.
