NZWe loved everything about our stay at Shunters. It felt so homely—warm, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. There were power plugs on each side of the bed, which was a thoughtful touch. I really enjoyed having a bath, and it was such a treat to stay in a 100-year-old historic rail cottage. I also enjoyed reading the folder with information about Waihi—it was interesting and added to the experience.
Only suggestion I would love to see old photos of the cottage and more information about its history.

NZNZNZMilk in the fridge was appreciated. Heaters were appreciated. Kids enjoyed the dvd Great location for start of the cycle through the gorge
Bed's weren't great. Would be great if you supplied shampoo as have got use to not traveling with my own. Would be good to have some games in the house
