Nous avons beaucoup aimé ce cottage qui est un véritable havre de paix, au milieu de la campagne, et pas très loin de Bantry. Nous avons apprécié le très bon accueil de Urs, le calme , le confort, les espaces spacieux et très lumineux , les équipements, la décoration...

L'absence de wifi le premier jour, mais on s'en est finalement vite accommodé.

Lors de notre séjour de 4 nuits en juillet 2025, nous avons apprécié le calme et le charme de l'endroit, l'accueil et la discrétion de nos charmants hôtes (Rosie et Urs). La situation centrale de Bantry permet de se rendre facilement à Cork puis découvrir le début de la Wild Atlantic Way. De plus, les accès aux péninsules du Beara, du Sheep's head et de Mizen Head sont très proches.

Peaceful, cosy cottage in a stunning part of West Cork We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage just outside Bantry. It’s set on a peaceful farm owned by a lovely couple who gave us a warm welcome on arrival and a friendly goodbye when we left. The cottage is cosy, well-equipped, and surrounded by a lovely garden — perfect for a relaxing break. The location is ideal for exploring the West Cork coastline, which is absolutely breathtaking — dramatic, wild, and full of character. We loved visiting the nearby towns, beaches, and scenic spots, and were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Ireland’s southwest.

The location is ideal for a tranquil and relaxing stay (be prepared for a narrow access lane), yet within easy reach of Bantry. The cottage has an unusual design but is thoroughly comfortable, a lot of thought has gone into the decor and equipment. The hosts are delightful, on hand for assistance but respecting privacy.
