Perfect Country-Side Get-Away

The perfect location, it was so quiet. Inside was so clean and a comfy bed.

We liked everything about the place.

Everything was great! The place was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of room to put your stuff or hang clothes if needed.

The only thing I didn't like was that the saute or frying pans were Teflon and scratched, some down to the metal and to the point where they should have been thrown away long ago. If the proprietors are listing cookware as being supplied, they should think about the health of their guests and provide decent pans for cooking. It should just be considered part of the maintenance of the kitchen. Having the proper utensils for the pans would help.

We ate out with family. Except for one night bought McDonald’s.

Wished we had more time.

Wir lieben die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit und die naturbelassene Umgebung. Trotzdem ist man in 10 Minuten mitten in Boerne.

Wir lieben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Diese naturbelassene Umgebung. Mein Highlight ist das freilaufende Pferd. Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort und werden die letzten Tage unseres Urlaubs vor der Rückreise wieder dort verbringen.

The house was very clean and relaxing. Loved the peacefulness and appreciate the owners sharing their lively hires and their wonderful two cats, Mister and Zarro.

There was nothing to not like. Loved everything. Would come back.

We loved the location. Not too far from San Antonio, but a comfortable distance from the city that we felt safe. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, but did not intrude at all with our stay. There are cats, chickens, and a free roaming horse on the property. as well as plenty of deer in the area. The guest house is cute and cozy, situated away from the main house. We loved having a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every day. The price was very reasonable. Overall, we would definitely look at staying here again on our next visit.

The only things we had complaint about are more personal preference, as we really should have a king-sized bed because of needing the extra length. We also do not prefer leather sofas, again more of a personal choice rather than a quality of the property.

The location was perfect. It was quiet and remote with being too far from anything we wanted to do. It was clean and everything was in working order. Easy access.

We were not sure what to do with the trash when we cleaned up. Towels and wash rags smelled a little mildewed.

So peaceful. We will certainly stay again. We able to stay in and cook or go out to town for a meal. Plenty of room. Comfy bed. Got to see wild turkey, deer. jack rabbits and a sweet kitty
