Didn't allowed to use kitchen but mentioned kitchenware in booking.com .....also the bed is not comfy, can feel the spring inside ....not enough blankets.

It's very near to jonker street and all places

Hope have induction stove so it's easy to cook ... especially when came to big family

The location was excellent. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, yet very close to Jonker street and other main attractions in Malacca. If you want to save some time walking (~9-10 mins from VGO to Jonker Street), just park somewhere nearer. The host was also kind enough to accommodate our request to check-in earlier (from 3pm to 12pm) as our grandmother was feeling unwell.

However, there were several issues in our 2 days of stay that turned this experience into a 6-star review. Firstly, basic amenities (toilet paper, shampoo, body wash etc.) were lacking and we had to purchase these items on our own. Secondly, the towels provided were not absorbent! Luckily, we brought our own towels, or it would have been a disaster after shower time. Thirdly, I believe the beds are too old, as they no longer provide basic support; some were slightly depressed in the middle. None of us (8 people) had a good sleep on the beds provided, which is rare for our case. Fourthly, the place was full of mosquitoes, which I believe is due to the stagnant drain water at the front. Finally, general cleanliness could be much improved, as many places appear to be dusty and under-maintained. In summary, place feels under-maintained, and shower experience and sleeping experience was less than pleasant.

Good space to stretch out. 3 bathrooms an added bonus. Air conditioning was awesome. I liked living amongst the locals and being close to the local restaurants.

Didn’t realise there was no kitchen (it is blocked off). No way to make a cup of tea (jug provided had no cord), but not a single cup or plate for use. My bad for not reading description properly. Wifi worked a couple of times but unfortunately they couldn’t fix it.
