Carbet Lodge

Staying here was a delight, it was the perfect start to our trip in Scotland. The house is completely charming, so comfy and nice. The location is fantastic, it's in a gorgeous neighborhood and a short walk to Broughty Ferry, which we loved. Sarah was super responsive, great to work with.

- Good location for excursions and to go out for a quick meal in the evening. - Everything is very modernly equipped. - The kitchen has much more equipment than you can use ... even a wine fridge :-) - We received a quick response to queries via booking.

- There were too few towel hooks in the bathroom and no good alternative for hanging up the towels. - One bathroom was actually too small for 4 people. - In the kitchen at the practical counter there were 3 chairs ... unfortunately one too few for 4 people. But there was an additional dining room.

Lovely modern comfortable interior whilst having all the original character on the outside, great garden space too. Nice outlook from lounge window across the estuary.

Carbet Lodge sits in a wonderful location with spectacular views over Broughty Ferry down to the sea. only a short walk to shops and some fabulous restaurants. A quirky property, tastefully furnished and equipped with every modern convenience set within beautiful grounds.

House was spotless and beautifully decorated. Spacious and well equipped, with everything you need at hand. Situated in a great location within walking distance of lots of independent shops, restaurants and easy travel links to Dundee. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others.
