Smithy House

The house has loads of space, bright and airy, lovely gardens, great social space in the kitchen.

The kitchen could have been cleaner on arrival - the sink and the oven in particular.

Property size was great

Charge for the pool table etc. We didn’t realise until we got there although it does say on booking.com. The beds in one of the twin rooms are very wobbly. Empty shower gel bottles in the master bathroom, luckily we took our own.

The space to socialise, this beautiful property provides perfect opportunity to just be together whilst also allowing for space to have some time to yourself if wished. The games room was such a great experience for our family, all ages playing together, and the kitchen table just perfect. A lovely quiet setting which was wonderfully maintained.

So spacious and un-cramped. Each bedroom was a really good size and the doors all opened and closed really quietly, ha ha...but I really noticed that. Plenty of seating and a lovely big dining table with great benches ( i thought I wouldn't like sitting at a bench but I did!) We had a wheelchair user in the party and there was ample space for them and the ensuite shower room was a very good size. Not adapted.

We left a few suggestions in the book provided and it is clear that the owner reads and responds to everything...which is great. Not much to dislike, just a few suggestions really.
