Nalluran illam - family room

Room and flat was very clean and a great hospitaly the host gave. I was like staying at home.

Great location near Nallur kovil, host is very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean. Beautiful garden space, car parking available in gated property, nice balcony. Good AC unit in room. Kitchen has all necessary items.

Mattresses were a bit thin.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam eigenaars. Een heel appartement voor ons alleen. Rustig gelegen op 15 minuten van de Hindoe tempels. De ceremonies bijwonen om 17u45 is een must. De koeien die vrij rondlopen in een drukke stad is wel grappig. Bezoek aan Delft is niet zo bijzonder, behalve de koraalomheiningen van de woningen en de groeisteen. Voor de rest, veel ruïnes waar ´niet veel van overblijft. De overtocht is wel spannend, een oude overzet ook, max. 100 personen en locals hebben voorrang. Iedereen moet binnen in het ruim. Een beetje beangstigend, je zit opgesloten en hopend dat hij niet kapseist.

The family looked after us well. We had privacy but also access to owners if we needed anything.

There wasn’t anything we disliked.

The house had a single en suite bathroom, meaning one of us had to walk through the other's, which was tricky at night.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nallarun illam! My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

This property is super clean, it shines .!The proprietor is helpful and he allowed us to leave bags in our room when we we went on a trip to delft island, basically he gave us the rooms free for that extra night as he was quiet at the beginning of the season in Jaffna , he is a kind relaxed gentleman, he is not doing food at the moment but he provided a good kitchen with microwave , kettle and fully stocked with cutlery and crockery in his beautiful home apartment, the apartment had a huge terrace balcony for relaxing. This place is an oasis inJaffna and very peaceful. Great location short distance to centre
