Modern Luxury Beach House Kailua

Great location two blocks from the beach in lovely Kailua away from (other) tourists, host was easy to communicate with.

The “beach cottage” was in need of a lot of updates - towels, sheets seemed pretty worn/thin, bathroom could use some refreshing - cleaning water stains, even a new shower curtain would help. Mattress felt like a foam topper - pretty squishy. There were a lot of vent-like windows on each of the walls which really did not block any noise, which made the studio feel not very private with the house a few feet away and having to walk by the cottage to use the washer/dryer. No body wash/shampoo provided. Kailua is expensive but for $400+ per night we were left feeling very underwhelmed. The house on the property looked nicer.

The house was fully equipped, there was nothing missing.

The internet dropped out a bit but nothing else

Spacious house, clean, so much love there! The beach is two minutes away! You can walk to shops too!

The owner was very nice.

There were no pictures of the property on the website, so we didn’t realize how big it was. It advertised as having air conditioning and it didn’t. I rated it uncomfortable due to that.

The location was great. The host was great. The house was very roomy. The outside was great.

It needs air conditioning!!

The property was in a great location near the beach. it was clean and stocked with most everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The check in and check out process was easy and ensures you have all the information you need.

The back door could be a little more secure, but the area posed no concerns.

The location was spectacular. We were walking distance to the beach and very close to town. Plenty of spots to choose from to eat and plenty of markets to help keep our place stocked. The house was the perfect size for our family of four.

Couple items: there wasn't really any soap when we arrived so we had to buy our own. All the shampoo bottles/lotion were in German so hard to tell what was what. That was our only issue really. Everything else really worked out for us!
