Seabatical

Lovely fully equipped and central accommodation met all our needs. Wifi and added bonus with busy kids. Also pool facility was welcome. We're definitely going to try and come in summer. All in all. Great accommodation.

Wifi doesn't extend to rooms to keep noisy kids busy with games. Weber was ok to braai as other braai facility is right on tenants doorstep so we didn't want to use that braai.

Very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and has an amazing view. The location was great and had a huge, fenced yard for dogs. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

the property itself was good and well located

The aftermath experience was terrible. the care taker and owner accused us of damaging their braai area which was on another tenant’s side and we never used. When we arrived there the care taker told us the other side with the braai area belonged to another tenant they had and we were allocated a kettle braai instead. We use the kettle braai and cleaned it afterwards it lo and behold after we checked out we were then accused of using and damaging the braai area which we never used. We were further accused of damaging a shower rail when in actual fact it fell off on its own and we reported this immediately to the care taker. weird thing is that shower rail had been held by double sided tape all along and unlucky to us it fell off and nod we are accused of destroying it. Overall we believe the owner and/or care taker are running a scam to try and rip guests off their deposit as they ask for a key deposit of cash upfront at check in and now suspect this is their way of retaining that money and not paying it back. very disappointing

The pictures do not do justice to the place... it was comfortable, clean, has everything that you need.

The wifi needs to be upgraded.... it is really bad but that is all.

Spider webs behind mirror and bed

This is a lovely house with spacious gardens and spectacular views over the lagoon to the Heads. Everything worked and the accommodation is well maintained. The pool is clean and very nice and the whole place has a comfortable feel about it.

There is a little bit of an issue in that the property is shared and this is perhaps not clear from the description. In particular the permanent BBQ is right outside the front door of the other resident so that guests cannot really use it. There is however another portable one to use so that its not a big issue. The pool is also overlooked but the resident was hardly ever there during the day so again not a big issue
