Beautiful 2 bedroom guest house with private pool in Lacock, Wiltshire

Quiet, peaceful location. The house was perfect for us. The pool was amazing, I wish that I lived here!

Great location, short walk to Lacock. Private use of pool. Reverse living style with nice views from upstairs. Ensuite and separate bathroom meant we had plenty of space.

It could have been cleaner. Our little dog went under the double bed and came out extra fluffy, we could see his paw prints in the dust. Headboards of the single beds were also dusty and some of the crockery was put away still dirty. The private pool was great but felt a little overlooked by the owners, some people wouldn't mind but some privacy screens/fence wouldn't go amiss.

location was superb with simple access to major roads for sightseeing. very clean and comfortable. owner very helpful in providing extra bedding when I arrived.

slight issue with slow drainage from bathroom sink and shower. reported this to owner so I’m confident this has been fixed

The pool!! And the quiet meadow for the kids to play in. Very idyllic

A beautiful guest house down a little lane, very quiet and peaceful. Owners on hand should you need them, nice and friendly without being intrusive. We found the beds super comfy and the quilts warm. The added bonus of an en-suite shower room and toilet to the double bedroom was a real bonus for us. The kitchen is well equipped and a nice comfy lounge upstairs, the honesty bar is a really nice touch although we didn't make use of it, all being t-total! The pool should not have been available but the owner was getting it ready for the season and did invite us to use it if we wanted. We weren't able to take up the offer, but the pool is a nice size, in a nice sunny spot with some garden furniture to rest and relax in. Lots of little extras supplied, soap powder for the washing machine, dishwasher tablets washing up liquid, toilet rolls, hand soap in both shower rooms along with shampoo and body wash. Some nice bits included in a welcome pack and all the essentials for that cup of tea or coffee on your arrival. There is a good selection of supermarkets all close by. The village of Lacock is really close, the Abbey and the entire village is owned by the National Trust and is a must see. Would definitely make a return visit.
