CASA ICARO - in the center of Amalfi

We had a good stay overall. The location is excellent, right in the center of Amalfi, making it very convenient to explore the town, restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions. The host sent clear instructions before our arrival, and the property was easy to find. There was a small miscommunication with the host during our stay, but it was resolved and did not significantly affect our experience. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend this accommodation to other travelers visiting Amalfi.

Excelente ubicación. La ciudad tiene muchas escaleras y tener esca cada cerca del centro y subiendo muy pocos escaleras es una ventaja. La encargada siempre estuvo muy pendiente. Vista a un lindo jardín de limones. 2 aires acondicionados te mantiene fresco siempre. Aunque la casa es fresca. Cocina bien equipada. Deja un libro de sugerencias muy útil.

De locatie van het verblijf is echt top!

Het was absoluut niet schoon in de accommodatie. De grond was erg vies alsof er niet schoon gemaakt was. Ook waren de faciliteiten matig, er waren geen bakjes waardoor we onze yoghurt uit een koffie mok gegeten hebben, de airco lekte en de lamp in de badkamer deed het niet.

La ubicación es excelente ,céntrico ,cerca de restaurantes ,catedral ,tiendas ,puerto ,estación de autobuses ,playa . Las camas cómodas y el apartamento bien equipado . Irene muy amable , atenta y disponible en todo momento .

La limpieza se podría mejorar . No estaría de más que haya una escoba y fregona .

Responsive host. We needed sheets and napkins that the house keeper forgot about and the host came over quickly to resolve. She was also helpful with local information and bus travel.

Small for 3 people but did the job.

There is nothing to like here... except location. Everything inside is poor quality when compared to the price we paid. Understand that it's touristy location but you must invest something in the room. We started our holiday by discovering the bathroom drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom and the kitchen. We were all mopping and rinsing the place, not a good start. The bedding was made of cheap sheets that were ineffective in cold. The refrigerator had condensation all over so I didn't use it. the utensils were cheap and not clean so wash them before using. . A cheap bottle of some kind of body wash is all thats in the shower. The steps are uneven with poor lighting. My wife fell as she missed a step. tourist places can be a rip off especially during holiday season so this seems to be the case. Looking at the investment inside, they are probably renting it at half price other days.
