It was a very pleasant stay, I got surprised with the view and the pleasant surroundings.

The house is quite lovely and clean and the hostess was helpful.

Traveling the roads to get there was a nightmare and very unsafe for drivers who are not accustomed to the area. Apparently there is a better route than what Google Maps took us on. Perhaps some clear directions about avoiding certain roads should be included in the description. We made the mistake of thinking the property was on the edge of Arouca. It is not.

Super kind hosts. Beautiful house in an amazing, remote location.

Could be a little warmer

Place looks like pretty stone old house but inside is very spacious, updated, feels cosy, have all amenities needed. We even had a cake waiting for us as welcome gift. Communication was easy. Overall, great stay. Bonus for cat lovers- they are everywhere around: ground, walls, roof!

Was a bit out of way, it took us 45 min to get there from Passadiços do Paiva Trailhead (Areinho) parking entrance.

I wish we had several more nights here! The atmosphere was amazing and everything was so high quality.
