Secluded place, beautiful nature, responsive hosts, close to hiking trails

Wonderful owners! Very comfortable stay, after the mountain walk. The beds were great; everything was clean and cozy, we enjoyed a cute garden with visiting cats. The house was larger than I expected. The kitchen was also larger than expected and well equipped, suitable for cooking for a family, if you are inclined. The owners produce honey from mountain flowers. We've got heather honey- mmm- delicious

Everything was great

The woman who gave us the keys was extremely nice and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable and it's located in this very beautiful little street (really has like 4 or 5 houses only) in the middle of nothing. The access however was very easy with the car and the views are stunningly beautiful.

Delightful little hideaway in a romantic old stone village. Best to drive from the direction of Lousã as the road from the south is unpaved for several kilometres.

A sign visible from the road would be helpful as it is difficult to know that you have arrived and the mobile signal is poor.

Very nice and special place. The house is very well equipped. Very nice and helpful host.

I liked to stay in authentic house built with schist stone. the house was cozy, there were some kiwi on the table collected from tree near by. there was a physalis bush near by entry. There was a stove and I threw firewood and cones there before went to bed. The owner is really pastor so I've seen many goats. Wifi was good and there is everything for cooking.

A knife was small and bad for cutting.
