Haven Retreat Scotland - Large 4 Bed House with Woodland garden, Aboyne ,Royal Deeside

Beautiful, well-appointed house—cosy, secluded, and full of charm. We especially loved the spacious shared areas (lounge, dining room, and kitchen), and the bedrooms were both comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is ideal: just a short walk from the River Dee, a lovely pub, and local shops, yet still peaceful and set within a large garden. There’s plenty to see and do in and around Aboyne. Highly recommended.

Excellent and accommodating hosts

Absolutely stunning house in a lovely location. We were a family of 7 adults and a baby and there was everything we needed for a wonderful few days. The kitchen is exceptional with plenty of space leading out onto a decking area with huge table. The weather was kind and we ate outside twice to enjoy the garden with rhododendron's surrounding us. The village was an easy walk away with good shops and a lovely pub. The river Dee was close by and great trails all around to choose from for the jogging members of the family. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back!

The location- very close to good pub and not far from shops. The fact it was big enough for large group to be together. Great facilities provided- plenty toilet roll and things like salt, oil etc were available. Cookware ample and loved the aga keeping you warm. Plenty parking for us all. Great showers. Very thorough welcome pack.

Maybe comfier seating in kitchen for more people as this was our main gathering area. A few people said their beds were a bit uncomfortable. I was in master and bed there was very comfortable. A radio or speakers in kitchen and living room so music can be played. Not really big things. We really enjoyed the house

The AGA cooker took a bit of getting used to , one of the beds wasn’t very comfortable ( but three others were)
