La habitación y la ubicacion fueron excepcionales. Lo que estropeó la experiencia fue la dificultad para encontrar el apartamento y la falta de colaboración por parte de la Propiedad.

Dado que la ubicacion del apartamento no coincide con Google maps, se debería haber advertido por la propiedad, para evitar perder tiempo y agotarse callejeando con las maletas en busca del apartamento. Además tampoco fueron de gran ayuda cuando contactamos con la encargada para que nos ayudara a encontrarlo.

A clean space, good shower and bed, no clogged drains and a fridge and small stove top plus espresso maker provided. Relatively easy to find within the Sassi.

Sub par breakfast for an Italian hotel, honestly one of the worst we've had and very disappointing given the reviews online. Upon entering the space, a musty smell hits you despite a humidifier constantly at work. Yes its the Sassi but would have been good to know this was an issue before booking. First thing the next morning our breakfast was delivered but so were all the cleaning buckets for us to enjoy the view of. Construction is also going on next door so beware of the noise coming from their machinery.

The room was huge and spacious, so was the bathroom. Obviously its a cave room, so can be a bit musty and might take getting used to, but it was absolutely fine in itself. Was reasonably well equipped with kitchen equipment, utensils, stove and a fridge. The bathroom also had everything of utility, including hot water shower. The hosts / hotel staff were very pro-active in communication (since it does not have a fixed front desk reception), and gave accurate updates and communication over whatsapp, including instructions to park, instructions to reach and find the building and room. Since we were late, they were not able to meet us and help with checkin, but maintained excellent communication over phone. The room itself overlooks the valley and gives a superb view of the stone city, and was very well located. Breakfast arrived in a basket right on time at our doorstep, and was sufficient for 2 persons and delicious, croissants, cream-filled bread, and carton of milk (customized to our vegetarian requirement), apart from tea coffee sachets being available. The hotel / rooms was close to the main market street, restaurants and shopping areas, and also provided easy access to climb down the hills to the touristy roads on the bottom of the hill. Overall, great stay.

Priced slightly high, but could have been due to high demand.

Apartamento bellísimo. Su ubicación es perfecta, tiene hermosas vistas de Matera y está totalmente equipado. Estuvimos muy cómodos. El desayuno fue muy completo y delicioso. El personal fue muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable!!!

Absolutely everything. Spacious,, central location, safe, breakfast brought daily, the views of the Sassi from the private balcony. Daily towel changes, waters, coffees all stocked. Rooms and en suites comfortable and clean. Very special

What an amazing apartment, chiseled out of the rocks up the top of the Sassi. This was a real highlight. Great restaurant right outside but on the expensive side.
