Location was great. Central and easy access Bed were really comfy.

There was a strange smell to the living area.

The cottage is beautiful, Sally has obviously has put a lot of work into it

The bed in the smaller loft room was very uncomfortable, much too hard to sleep on. I was awake tossing and turning most of the night. There are also little green lights from the boiler which light the room up completely at night. I was going to sleep on the sofa for the second night but I ended up having to go home due to a family emergency.

Great location and fantastic decor. Amazing bath.

Very convenient for sightseeing Buxton and attending Festival events.

The location right in the centre of Buxton. How quiet is there despite the central location. And private parking

The house itself. It smells, especially on the ground floor. The carpet in the living room looks disgusting( i think it needs to be either properly washed or to be thrown away). Also the place lacks essentials. In the living room there are no where to put a drink if you sitting on the sofa. The huge dining table os OTT, but there is no side table or anything like that. Bathroom is huge and yet there is nowhere to put your washing up products. It needs a shelf next to a bath, hook on the shower and somewhere to put your soap and etc in the shower. Windows are ancient and you cannot either open or close it

Superb location. Excellent host- Sally was always at the end of the phone. Fab bathroom- great walk in shower- wonderful free standing bath- loads of space in the bathroom. Very well equipped, clean, modern kitchen. Three good bedrooms, all with bright ceiling lights plus bedside lamps plus wardrobes/ storage space. Two of the bedrooms were very large, one was smaller but nevertheless housed a double bed. Internet provided at property was excellent - fast and responsive. TV worked well. Hot water was almost instant - very impressive. Visited in summer so no need for heating.

The living room is quite dark. In my view it needs much better lighting especially for us older guests who like to read. The bed in the large top floor bedroom has quite a hard mattress-I could not sleep on it- so slept in smaller bedroom where mattress was very comfortable. There is no microwave in the property currently, but there is a lovely cooker with a super induction hob, instead. Stairs to top floor are steepish but rope handrail is very helpful.
